This is from my 'Nuts' jewellery range. all the pieces are made from real hardware (Nuts, Bolts, Washers, Clasps, Ball Bearings etc) and are bound together with silver and gold wire. A piece of this size takes around a week or so to finish working on it for a couple of hours a day. Despite what you may think, the pieces are actually not too heavy... in the scheme of things:) and are surprisingly comfortable to wear.

incredible concept and very nicely carried out. The overall effect really is very interesting, and it does take a few seconds to sink in that those are bolts etc ... would be interesting to see this kind of work with elements of colour added .
must be heavy, but i love it :)

I think you'd be surprised actually... I was really worried about the weight whilst I was producing the piece but the final weight actually made the necklace very comfortable (well that was what the buyer said anyway!) I'm working on a similar piece at the moment, but this time before it goes I'll weigh it and post the final amount - I'm interested myself!
well, it's good that it's not as heavy as it looks :) Anyway, great work!
