This was my first ever commission back in about 2002/3. Looking back is always hard because I've come such a long way and its impossible to not be SUPER-Critial! But Alicia (the lady who commissioned me) was so pleased... and that's all that matters after all.
If you look at the open drawer in the picture you can see how this technique of construction allows the grain of the timber to flow right through the piece.

that's awesome!!! I especially like that while it's curvy and creatively eccentric it's still very functional, having enough room within the drawers. And I definitely like how the top drawer slips in and out with no problems even if the right side is wide open. It's thinking 'out of the box' and I adore it!
